A romantic and cheerful evening 🌇
Evening Walks: A Little Story of Colours, Chaos & Calm
Morning walks are all about me, myself and my quiet world.
But evening walks… they are a little different. Evening walks become part and parcel of everyone’s routine. We begin our day with calm, serene thoughts, ready to carry out our tasks with energy. But as the day slowly descends into evening, the sun sets and leaves behind a soft nip in the air. The stage prepares itself for the gentle glow of the moon and suddenly, there is romance everywhere. The dusk settles in with a cool, soothing breeze, making that short window the perfect time for an evening stroll.
The other day, I visited a park I hadn’t been for a very long time. Right at the entrance, colourful balloon and fan vendors welcomed me, irresistible enough to take a small video.
A COLOURFUL FAN WHICH SWIRLS ALONG WITH THE SPEED OF THE WIND. A rare sight indeed .
As I stepped inside, birds were returning to their nests, chirping away in their joyful chatter.
People of all ages were there, each in their own world.
Some walked, some jogged, each trying their best to shed a little weight and a little stress.
Mother-to-be ladies walking with their better half, a soft shine in their eyes and a touch of tiredness too.
Cute couples whispered sweet nothings.
Teens chattered endlessly, oblivious to life’s deeper threads.
Old couples walked steadily, discussing life with quiet wisdom.
Toddlers and children delighted in their candy-stick ice creams, giggling and running around.
A few teenagers, lost in their pods, moved through the park wrapped in their own music.
In this beautiful chaos, I clicked a few pictures and videos, tiny memories captured forever.
All the while, I was listening to my favourite piece, Passacaglia Piano ❤️. With soothing music in my ears and a world full of colours around me, the evening felt magical.
The sky shifted from a warm orange palette to deep dusky tones. The park lights flickered on, illuminating the trees like little stars fallen to the ground. It was a sight worth watching.
Hereby , I want to mention a small observation which came to my sight. There was this tree which was leafless amidst all the other green trees. But still it had its charm which cannot be overlooked . A beauty of different kind.
To hear and see on our TV screens that many metros now have alarmingly high AQ levels, sometimes even disastrous to breathe has sadly become common. Added to this is the growing chaos caused by global warming across our planet. Keeping all this in mind, I felt it is truly a blessing to pause, observe, and capture the small wonders around us that bring a moment of peace into our daily routine.
Many of you must be observing and experiencing such small joys which gives immense peace in your daily routine .
