This short newsletter is about an ad which shows that language is never a barrier for communication. Where there is a want for bonding, connection, love and friendships it happens. The language is not a barrier at such times.
A sweet chocolate bar can do the magic but without a magic wand .
The other day I was watching this ad in the TV. It conveyed a strong message in a very cute way. The brand promoted was a very popular chocolate bar. The creativity behind this ad was impressive and calls for appreciation. .
The above ad which I have shared is in the Hindi language. But any one who will watch this ad can easily understand the message the ad wants to convey . Again language is not a barrier to understand the real message conveyed.
In India there are countless languages spoken with different dialects too. North, South, West , East and Central India have their own slangs. In the Northern, Western and Central part of India Hindi is the most popular language spoken other than their own mother tongue language. There are different slangs people use while speaking in Hindi depending on the state they belong to.
The scene shown in this ad is about ladies sitting in and having a gossip time among their regular group. During the tête-à-tête enters a lady . She is from a different state. She is new to the area, apartment and tries to introduce herself and mingle with the ladies like any newbie. In this ad Hindi is the language spoken by the ladies in the clip. The new comer is from Southern part of India where Tamil is the language spoken. The ad takes advantage of the language barrier and has conveyed a beautiful message with the same. The sharing of a chocolate bar with other ladies implies the starting of a sweet journey of a new friendship between them. A chocolate bar removes the language barrier with a smile. Such a creative ad. A very bold attempt by the creative team.
For me this ad is like a cool breeze on a hot torrid summer. Or a warm blanket to snug in during a cold winter. We can always substitute this ad with any language spoken through out this world , different people from different countries but the message conveyed will be the same.
This ad sends a strong message that “ LANGUAGE IS NO BARRIER WHEN IT COMES TO FRIENDSHIPS and LOVE ❤️. Connect happens naturally.
A chocolate is not only to relish, but also to spread love, happiness, Joy, and smile. This short clip has conveyed a simple but strong message apt for all age groups be it teens, adolescent, old, couples etc.
