This write-up is about one of the most important emotions which we all experience very often in our daily routine. This emotion occurs in all of us irrespective of the age we are in😰.
Why does this jittery feeling overpower us easily in our daily routine is the question?
In the prevailing times, I feel strongly that we all experience this feeling of being nervous very often. In our day to day routine, simple things like, when the maid or cook takes off from work, too much of traffic woes, cancel of cabs by the apps based taxis etc etc this feeling of nervousness is triggered instantly within us in few seconds.
In today’s precarious situations to send a toddler to a daycare too makes one nervous as we are not sure about the safety and security for our ward in the centre.
There are many more countless reasons to become nervous in today’s prevailing situations. The invasion of screens in our drawing room has made parenting tough. The helplessness faced by parents in their inability to control the screen time of their wards sets a nervousness sets instantly within parents. This state of anxiety has become a normal thing with most of the Parents. There is no way one can escape, enduring this jittery feelings at such given situations.
The best example for becoming jittery is the overall influence the social media has in most of us. Less followers, no likes, no subscribers, all these negligible issues of social media play a vital role to make a person jittery. This is a point of major concern for all of us in today’s times.
Botox, Fillers, Veneers, age defying tablets, Rhinoplasty to name a few are taking centre stage in today’s lifestyle. This implies how looks play a major role in both men and women. The craze for a beautiful slim figure for women and six packs Abs for men cannot be overlooked. This glamour, looks when not in the expected form leads to depression. This depression seeds in us a constant feeling of being jittery about how our face and our body looks in front of others.
The feeling of insecurities due to instability in relationships can heighten the feeling of nervousness to Himalayan heights. This is one of the significant reasons for the nervousness being very widely seen in most of us. This feeling of instability give rise to the anxiety which is very common to witness these days.
The jittery feeling doesn’t spare even the young students, who have opted for higher studies in a foreign country. People who have chosen to work in foreign shores to make a career and fortune for themselves are also not spared from this feeling of being anxious. The prevailing unpredictable times give rise to the uncertainty which heightens the feeling of being jittery to the maximum in any person.
The reason for highlighting the above instances in this blog is very simple. Previously, being nervous used to be associated only with job interviews, marriage proposals, when becoming a new parent, a major health scare, checking the entrance exam results or Board marks for the first time. This jittery feeling used to be experienced only during really major turning points of life and career which was unavoidable. Things have drastically changed now.
How slowly and steadily being jittery has become the part and parcel of our routine?
To Be nervous becomes part of our nature, when things don’t go as per our expectations in our life. This state of uncertainty is the culprit which induces an unsettling feeling in all of us.
It doesn’t matter which corner of the planet we may live, rich or poor, working or not working, old or young,
EMOTIONS ARE THE COMMON THREAD WHICH CONNECTS ALL OF US IN THE SAME LINE”
We are all aware of the saying WHATEVER HAS TO HAPPEN HAS TO HAPPEN, Nonetheless, WE CANNOT AVOID THIS FEELING OF BEING NERVOUS AT VARIOUS TIMES IN OUR REGULAR ROUTINE.”. Isn’t it?
