Today being a Mother’s Day, felt like penning a few words about motherhood.

Being a mom myself ,this journey began many years ago and is continues to stay strong till date.

This begins, born as a baby girl, slowly and steadily embracing each and every phase from being a toddler, a school girl, an adolescent, a teenager, a daughter, a wife a daughter-in-law, a mother-in-law, and finally a grandmother.

Among all the roles played by me, the most intense and powerful one for me has been being a mother.

The words which I am writing here are not just mine. They belong to every mother in this world.

It all starts with the pregnancy where a unique bond develops with the life growing inside. This bond is something which cannot be explained in words. This is where the selflessness quietly begins. This is where a mother is born, an epitome of resilience, selflessness, unlimited and unconditional love.

My journey started with being a young mom who cherished every moment of cuddling, feeding and listening to the innocent babble of the new born. The new born instills a feeling of being responsible and protective mother .

As the years passed by, my role involved building , nurturing good qualities in the child to shape him/her as a good child, adolescent, teen, student and finally a good son or a daughter. Each phase demanded patience, understanding and an unwavering support .

There after started the new transition , from being a mother to be a friend to children . This phase is it asks for understanding, adaptability and continues learning. And I believe this learning never truly ends. Even as they grow, mother continues to grow with them.

From shaping their life as a responsible individual and giving body and soul to see them being successful in their career, mother’s role is never ending.

For their sacrifices, unconditional love, and the physical and emotional strength they selflessly offer throughout their children’s lives and careers 🫡🫡🫡

A mother’s role never truly ends… she continues to nurture, support, guide, and love endlessly.

It would be incomplete if I didn’t mention a mother’s delicious 🍳. The taste of food is not just flavours but also filled with love and affection.

No matter how far children travel in their life , the craving for “mother’s cooking” never fades away.perhaps, this is one if the main factor which keeps the mother- children bond pure and everlasting.
